Taos Parkside Condo is at Las Milpas (the "Meadow") overlooking Kit Carson Park on one side and the historic Fechin House and Inn on the other. Located only several minutes' walk from the Taos Plaza and many of Taos' fine restaurants and galleries, it is peacefully situated atop a quiet residential condominium. Two generations of family owners have attractively furnished 14 Las Milpas with a modest collection of handcrafted territorial style furniture, Mexican and Native American art and textiles. There are two bedrooms and two baths. One bedroom has a queen size bed and an en suite bath with stall shower. The other bedroom has twin beds and convenient access to a hall bath with dual sinks, tub and shower. The kitchen is recently remodeled including fridge with icemaker, Bosch dishwasher, self-cleaning oven, stove, microwave and is enhanced with Corian countertops and an attractive skylight. The living room and bedrooms enjoy the rustic old world charm of beamed ceilings. In the living room corner is a functioning wood burning kiva-style fireplace adjacent to French doors giving on to an expansive attractive portal overlooking Kit Carson Park at treetop level. There are parking spaces for two vehicles, one of which is a covered carport. Cable TV is provided for the occasional "day off" from skiing, hiking or sightseeing.
